The Partnership for Democracy Magdeburg, a project of the European Youth Education Centre Magdeburg, is currently preparing a Youth Conference together with the StadtJugendRing Magdeburg. The aim is to create a space where the topics, ideas and perspectives of young people take centre stage.
The conference is intended to provide an opportunity to start conversations, exchange ideas and discuss together what matters to young people in Magdeburg – without a fixed schedule and with plenty of room for their own topics.
Young people can help shape the conference
Already during the planning phase, young people aged 14 to 18 are invited to contribute their ideas and help decide what the Youth Conference should look like and which topics should be discussed.
There are two ways to get involved:
- taking part in a short online survey (takes about two minutes)
- joining a planning group that will develop the content of the Youth Conference together

First meeting of the planning group
The first meeting of the planning group will take place on:
- 18 March, 16:00–18:00
- StadtJugendRing Magdeburg
- Leibnizstraße 25
- 39104 Magdeburg
