By car

By car, you can reach the EJBM from the south directly via the A14 motorway; from all other directions, take the A2 motorway to the A14:

• A2 motorway: Exit #68 "Kreuz Magdeburg" onto the A14 in the direction of Halle/Leipzig
• Autobahn A14: Exit #4 "Wanzleben" towards Magdeburg/Ottersleben

Parking

Secure parking is available for our guests. The entrance to the car park is here, at about the same locations as the address "Lüttgen-Ottersleben 18" (not 18a).

The parking space is usually locked. If you are not travelling with a group, please let the reception know in advance.

By public transport

The nearest train station is Magdeburg Hauptbahnhof (Magdeburg Central Station) in the city centre.

The Central Bus Station is located at the back of Magdeburg Central Station. From there, bus line 603 (direction "Oschersleben") goes directly to the bus stop "Friedhof Klein-Ottersleben", which is about 300 metres from the EJBM.

Nearby stops with alternative lines:

Bus: "Am Teich" (approx. 800 metres away)
Tram: "Braunlager Straße" (approx. 2,400 metres away)

At night or when bus routes are restricted, the EJBM can also be reached by tram. The Öffi app and the website of the Magdeburg Transport Authority can help you find the best connections.

Accessibility

We want you to feel comfortable in our house and to be able to use our premises and equipment as independently as possible. Your individual needs and wishes are very important to us, so please let us know before your visit. We look forward to your enquiry and will do our best to make your stay with us a pleasant one.

Public Transport

The nearest accessible stop is "Am Teich" (see the route network map). From there it is about 900 metres to the EJBM on an asphalted road (Niendorfer Straße) with pavement.

Access to the buildings

The main entrance door to Villa Böckelmann is unfortunately not barrier-free, but a barrier free access to the building is provided by a side entrance with ramp on the right side of the house (coordinates 52.09690, 11.56652). The villa forecourt is paved (cobblestones).

Inside the Villa Böckelmann

In the main house there is a lift to the seminar rooms on the first floor. There is a toilet on the ground floor that can be accessed by wheelchair. Grab rails are available.

All doors must be opened manually. Central passage doors are usually open.

Barrier-free rooms

We have two rooms in the adjacent dormitory that are suitable for people in wheelchairs. Both rooms are equipped with seated showers
