Join us from 10–16 November 2025 for an international training course for youth workers and educators. Together, we’ll explore how early social expectations shape gender roles — in youth communities, workplaces, and beyond. Through creative and participatory methods such as games, mural painting and filmmaking, participants will learn to recognise and challenge stereotypes, promote inclusion, and use art and dialogue as tools for social change.
This training course focuses on gender inequality in everyday life — from early social influences and expectations to gender roles in youth communities and professional environments. Participants will explore stereotypes related to jobs, hobbies, and appearance through interactive and creative methods such as card games, board games, simulation exercises and group discussions supported by facts and data.
Through mural painting and participatory filmmaking, participants will use artistic and community-based methods to express messages about equality, inclusion and social change.
The training aims to deepen understanding of gender equality, strengthen the ability to recognise and challenge stereotypes, and empower participants to apply creative, participatory approaches in their own youth work. In the final stage, participants will develop individual and group action plans to bring the outcomes and inspiration of the training into their local communities and organisations.
The training course is open to everyone aged 18 and above who is active or interested in youth work, gender education, or creative community projects – whether professionally, part-time or on a voluntary basis. Participants should be motivated to take part actively, exchange experiences in an international group and explore new perspectives and creative methods related to gender equality and inclusion.
A good command of English is helpful but not mandatory – mutual understanding will be supported through facilitation and non-formal communication methods.

How can we communicate the European Idea in times of crises? What does it take to counter common table talk and Fake News? This Training Course aims to equip young professionals from the field of political youth education with new methods and to give them space for exchange.
The multilateral expert measure "Communicating Europe in times of crisis" brings together experts in international youth work from several European countries. Together we would like to exchange proven, creative and/or new methods of communicating the European Idea, digital tools and needs analysis of the target group of young people as well as create manual for communicating Europe today. This should also include argumentation aids for common table slogans, recognizing and dealing with fake news, opportunities for active participation in the context of co-determination.
As part of the measure, international youth work professionals from different nationalities and cultural backgrounds will come together, work together, engage in content-related activities.
They will creatively deal with the topics of quality assurance and enhancement of international youth
